Description

In this course, you’ll learn how to effectively produce the Integrated Program Management Data Analysis Report (IPMDAR) Schedule Performance Dataset (SPD) using the forProject IPMDAR Export tool in Microsoft Project.  You’ll learn about the special data requirements of the IPMDAR SPD, and how to effectively prepare your schedule.  You’ll learn how to configure the Settings in the IPMDAR Export tool to match the fields and conventions in your schedule.  You’ll also learn how to perform validations and troubleshoot potential problems with the export.

Audience

Current users of Schedule Analyzer forProject who wish to produce the IPDAR Schedule Performance Dataset in JSON format

Prerequisites

  • A Windows computer (Windows 10 or later) with internet access
  • A modern, updated browser (e.g., Edge, Chrome or Safari)
  • Ability to access Citrix GoToMeeting (www.gotomeeting.com)
  • Microsoft Project 2013, 2016, 2019 or later (Standard or Professional) or the Project Online Desktop Client
  • Schedule Analyzer forProject v4.1.5 (or later) installed
  • One available Text field (to use Toggle Filter feature)
  • Microsoft Excel (2013 or later) installed (in order to use the Excel Export function)
  • A Microsoft Project schedule file (.mpp) to use during exercises (A sample file is also available from forProject if desired)
  • Basic knowledge of project scheduling using Microsoft Project
  • Note: Two monitors are recommended, but not required
