FP-110 Administering EVMS forProject

This course prepares administrative users of EVMS forProject to maintain the application during the normal usage of the product in a multi-user enterprise environment.  Participants will learn how to create and administer users, to maintain enterprise data and to administer other calculation options and business rules within the application. This course is designed for EVMS forProject Administrators and not for the average end-user of EVMS forProject Professional.

Instructor-Led Remote Learning

Administrative users of EVMS forProject who want to learn how to maintain the application in support of the end-user community

• A Windows computer (Windows 10 or later) with Internet access
• Ability to access Citrix GoToMeeting (www.gotomeeting.com)
• A modern, updated browser (e.g., Edge, Chrome, or Safari)
• Ability to access EVMS forProject Web App as an Administrator in your own environment, if desired
• Note: Two monitors are recommended, but not required

After participating in this course, you will be able to:

• Access the Server Settings in EVMS forProject Web App
• Create and administer Users of EVMS forProject
• Understand and administer:
• Security Groups and Roles
• Enterprise configuration including Custom Fields, Rate Categories, Result Units, etc.
• Enterprise data including OBS Structures, Elements of Cost, Resources, etc.
• Calculation configuration including Calculation Rules, EV Methods, etc.
• Manage Checked Out projects
• Understand and administer Transaction Import policy settings
